How does Starbucks grow when it has nearly 25,000 stores around the world? The answer was building an e-commerce presence that matched the experience of its retail stores. We helped them redefine what an online coffee purchasing experience could be, utilizing new ways to help consumers determine their taste preferences, giving them a visual guide to narrow their searches and content on how to make the best coffee at home. We helped evaluate and select a vendor, wrote the business requirements and partnered with them to build a site experience that not only echoed the retail experience, but augmented a sales channel for scalable growth.
