Project: Small Business Saturday “Show Your Love”

Founded in 2010, Small Business Saturday is a way to celebrate small businesses that make up the fabric and community of our local neighborhoods. Our campaign was founded on the insight that many consumers feel proud to share their favorite local businesses with their friends through word of mouth. So, we created a social campaign called “Show Your Love,” which encouraged consumers to take photos in front of their favorite small shops and businesses. For 2016, we extended the love and wanted to make it easy for friends to get invited, participate and help us make Saturday bigger than ever. With a robust campaign encompassing social (Facebook, Instagram, Snap), shopsmall.com and more, we not only drove record foot traffic to small businesses Nov 16, we got consumers to show their love for the shops that matter to them.
